Shipping policy
What is the cost to ship my order?
Each order's shipping rate is calculated by size, weight, and shipping destination. We typically offer a flat rate (such as $5) to ship your order. When you select this option, your order is typically shipped at the lowest rate available for your package.
Can I change my shipping address?
Once an order is submitted, we cannot change the shipping address or update any information as such in the order. This is for your protection and to avoid fraudulent purchasing.
When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 72 hours. Order volume, such as holidays or exclusive launches may increase ship time. We aim to ship all orders within 48 hours, excluding holidays & weekends.
How can I get free shipping?
We do often run shipping specials which you can find on social media or on our website. Most often, the threshold for free shipping is $50*. *Oversized items require additional fees for shipping.
Free shipping minimum is for contiguous United states & APOs. Hawaii, Alaska, and other outlying USA addresses typically have a higher shipping rate of $10 or free shipping with $100 purchase. Subject to change.
What carriers do you ship through?
We most often use USPS, but if you have a preference, let us know. We also use UPS & DHL when available.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we offer international shipping. Exact shipping cost is to be paid in advance by the customer. We are not responsible for any customs fees. We reserve the right to invoice for additional shipping fees if they are more than $1 more than quoted at checkout.
Some of our vendors do not allow international shipping.
Do you ship to forwarding addresses?
Items that do not allow for international shipping can not be shipped to a forwarding facility or other forwarding service. If an attempt is made to ship to a forwarding address, the order will be canceled.
Why was my order cancelled/my item refunded?
There are a variety of reasons your items may be refunded or canceled. Our emails often go to your spam folder, so please check there for correspondence. Here are some reasons your order may change:
- attempting to ship items to a forwarding address when it is not permitted.
- attempting to order above limits for new releases.
- your order is flagged or suspected as possible fraud.
- the item you ordered is unavailable.

How is my order packaged?
We do our best to ensure that your order arrives in brand new condition, so we typically will bag every order so that there is a barrier between your items and the outside packaging. If you have a preference for less packaging, feel free to leave a note. We are not responsible for any damages to your order occurring during shipping if you request less packaging.
Why do I have to pay shipping?
We do our absolute best to keep shipping fees very reasonable so that you are still happy to order from us! We also do not increase our prices to include shipping fees. We offer a flat rate shipping option for orders under the free shipping threshold & free shipping above the threshold, with a few exceptions.
Can I track my order?
Your order tracking can always be found in your account under my orders. Once your package leaves our hands, we are not responsible for your package, including any delays or unforeseen issues.
How long will it take to arrive once shipped? Unfortunately, we cannot control the time it takes to ship. There are times, such as the holiday season, that we can expect shipping times to be longer. Please contact us if you would like to request a particular way of shipping your order.
What is Route Shipping Protection?
Route is a shipping insurance company that covers packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Route ensures that customers get what they paid for, and allows for easy reordering with one simple click. Please find more information about ROUTE PROTECTION here. File a claim here.
At checkout, you may notice a small fee tacked onto your cart. This is your shipping protection. We highly recommend that you purchase Route Shipping Protection when ordering.
If you do not purchase Route Shipping Protection, you are solely responsible for any and all shipping issues that arise during shipping.

What do I do if my package is late, damaged or lost?
South Coast Baby Co is not responsible for packages that are lost in transit or arrive late or damaged due to shipping issues. Please see the below links & follow instructions.
